Voici la procédure à suivre pour installer votre serveur de dongle :
1- Installing Codemeter runtime
The prerequisite to configure a license server is the Codemeter Runtime. The Performer setup for windows installs the CodeMeter Runtime during the installation process. For the Linux Performer installation or setting up a dedicated license server, the Runtime should be installed manually by a user with administrator rights.
The latest version can be downloaded from the CodeMeter website: https://www.wibu.com/downloads-user-software.html

Select the version Windows/LinuxRPM/LinuxDEB depending on your system. The network server can use a different system that the one used to run Performer.

2 - Activating the server
To activate the CodeMeter server, go to the webadmin page:
Open a web browser and enter the address “localhost:22350” to access the web admin page or use The codemeter control center: Under Windows, this can be opened from the Start Menu under “All Programs/CodeMeter/CodeMeter Control Center”. In Linux, use the command “CodeMeterCC”. Finally, Click on the “webadmin” button (useful if the port number was changed).

Then, from the menu, go to “Configuration/Server/Server access”. Check the “Enable” radio button in the “Network Server” group.

Do not forget to click on the “Apply” button.

At this point, every client on the same network can start protected software (work also through a VPN) Except if a network point stops the broadcast packet use for the server discovery process.

3 - Configuring the client
In case the server discovery process does not work, it is possible to indicate to the client the name or address to be used to obtain the license.
To do this, on the client machine, go to the “webadmin” page (same method as for the server) Then, from the menu, go to “Configuration/Basic/Server search list”
Click on “add new server” and enter the name or the ip address of the server. If you have more than one server, you can add then too. Do not forget to click on the “Apply” button.
